Author's POV(●'◡'●)
The first light of dawn filtered through the grand windows of the Shekhawat mansion, casting a soft glow over the regal furnishings. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat stirred from his slumber, enjoying a rare moment of peaceful rest after two long months. His life had been consumed with a foreign business deal and managing issues within his shadowy mafia operations. He stepped into his en-suite bathroom, the marble floors cold against his bare feet. After a quick, hot shower, he dressed in a tailored suit, the crisp lines accentuating his commanding presence. For him, the suit was more than just clothing—it was armor.
As he descended the grand staircase of the Shekhawat mansion, his eyes swept across the opulence of his surroundings—a reminder of his status and the responsibilities that came with it. Rajveer entered the dining room, where his family was already gathered. His mother, Meera Singh Shekhawat, looked up with a warm smile.
"Good morning, Rajveer," Meera greeted, her voice warm with affection.
"Good morning, Maa," Rajveer replied to his mother then wished good morning to everyone else.
As everyoen start the breakfast Amar singh Shekhawat his grandfatehr asked him "Raj beta woh deal kase gye." ( how was deal raj?)
He replied " hame deal mil gye Dadaji."( we got the deal Gradfather.)
The conversation at the table was light, touching on business and family matters, but beneath the surface, Rajveer's mind was already at work, running through the day's agenda.
After breakfast, Rajveer made his way to Shekhawat Enterprises. The towering glass building was a testament to the family's legacy, but for Rajveer, it was just another battlefield.
His PA Mr. Patel Wished him good morning and Rajveer with blank face replied him with nod. Then he asked Mr. Patel about his today's schedule. Mr. Patel said that today he just have meeting and some files to sign.
Afetr this he went to attend the meeting, the boardroom filled with senior executives awaiting his instructions. As the CEO, Rajveer was known for his sharp mind and ruthless efficiency, qualities that made him both respected and feared.
The meeting was swift, with Rajveer making decisions that would shape the company's future. But just as the meeting was wrapping up, his phone buzzed—a coded message only he could decipher.
Rajveer's expression darkened as he read the message. Trouble was brewing in his other world—the one that operated in the shadows, away from the pristine image of Shekhawat Enterprises.
Without a word, Rajveer left the boardroom, his mind shifting gears from CEO to Mafia King. He made his way to a secluded warehouse on the outskirts of the city, where his most trusted men awaited him.
As he entered the warehouse, the atmosphere shifted, a palpable tension filling the air. His right-hand man, Raghav, stepped forward, his expression grim.
"Boss, we have a situation," Raghav said.
"Tell me everything," Rajveer commanded.
Across the city, Advika Rathor's morning was just beginning. The soft chime of her alarm clock pulled her from sleep, and she groaned, reaching out to silence it. The life of a college student was far from glamorous, but Advika embraced it with enthusiasm.
She quickly got ready, pulling on white Kurti with jeans, heels and oxidized earring. Her room, adorned with books and posters, was a stark contrast to the lavishness of Rajveer's world, but it was her sanctuary.
Advika joined her family at the breakfast table, her father, who wished her good and then engrossed in the morning newspaper, while her kaki ( she is like her nanny after her mother died she is taking care of her) kavita kaki was serving breakfast.
"Good morning, beta," Kavita greeted as Advika took her seat.
"Morning, kaki ," Advika replied, reaching for a piece of toast. "Kaki kya rohan pahale hee college chala geya hai" ("Is Rohan already went college ?") Rohan is a kavita kaki son.
"Yes, he left early today," Kavita said, smiling. "You know how he is with his sports practice."
Advika nodded, her thoughts already drifting to her day at college. Thinking what new things she are going to explore today at college.
Her father glanced up from the newspaper and asked "College kasa ja raha ha adu" (" How is your going going adu?")
"Asha chal raha ha papa" ( It's going good , dad") Advika replied with a smile. "per ajj ma or mare dost bahar ja rhe aa after college" ( " But I am going to hangout with by friend after college") In reply her father just nodded his head.
After breakfast, Advika headed to college, her thoughts filled with the mundane concerns of a student. The campus was bustling with activity as she made her way to her first class.
As she walked, the first person she saw made a wide smile spread on her face as she saw her best friend Kriti Singhania. Kriti went to abroad for 2 week trip now she is back and they had made plan for today after college.
Author's POV (●'◡'●)
Rajveer stood in the dimly lit warehouse, the cold air biting at his skin despite the heat simmering within him. The room was sparse, save for a few crates and a single chair in the center where a man, bound and gagged, sat trembling. Raghav, his most trusted lieutenant, stood beside him, waiting for the command.
Rajveer's eyes, dark and piercing, bore into the man before him. " Tumhe pta a tum yaha per kyu ho " ("You know why you're here,") he said, his voice as cold as the air around them.
The man whimpered, trying to speak through the gag, but Rajveer merely raised a hand, silencing him. "Mujhe tumhare bahane mai koi dilachaspee nahin hai, Mujhe bas jaanakaaree chaahie." ("I'm not interested in excuses. I want information.")
Raghav stepped forward, removing the gag. The man gasped for air, his eyes wide with fear. "Please sir, mera aisa matalab nahin tha" ("Please, sir... I didn't mean to—")
Rajveer cut him off, his tone icy. "mere shipament mein todaphod ka aadesh kisane diya?" ("Who ordered the sabotage of my shipment?")
The man hesitated, but one look at Rajveer's expression and he knew there was no escape. "yah... yah malik tha, sir. vah ilaake par kabza karane kee koshish kar raha hai" ("It was... it was Malik, sir. He's trying to take over the territory.")
A dangerous glint flashed in Rajveer's eyes. "Malik," he repeated, the name dripping with contempt. "aur mujhe dhokha dekar tumhen kya haasil hone kee ummeed thee? " ("And what did you hope to gain by betraying me?")
"kuchh nahin, sar! main kasam khaata hoon, main to bas aadeshon ka paalan kar raha tha!" ("Nothing, sir! I swear, I was just following orders!")
Rajveer stared at him for a long moment, weighing his options. Finally, he turned to Raghav. "Make sure Malik gets my message. No one crosses me and lives to tell the tale."
Raghav nodded, understanding the unspoken command. As he stepped away to deal with the traitor, Rajveer's thoughts were already elsewhere, planning his next move in the chess game that was his life.
Later, back at Shekhawat Enterprises, Rajveer sat in his office, the city skyline stretching out before him. The sun was beginning to set, casting long shadows across the room. He leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his hair as he reflected on the events of the day.
In the world of business, he was the CEO—respected, powerful, untouchable. But in the shadows, where the real power lay, he was something else entirely. The weight of his dual life pressed down on him, heavier with each passing day.
He closed his eyes, letting out a slow breath. The darkness within him was growing, threatening to consume everything in its path. But he couldn't let that happen—not yet. There were too many loose ends, too many enemies waiting for him to slip.
Rajveer's phone buzzed on the desk, pulling him from his thoughts. It was Raghav, confirming that the message to Malik had been delivered. Rajveer's lips curled into a grim smile. The game was far from over.
Across the city, Advika and Kriti was walking through the bustling corridors of their college. The campus was alive with students rushing to classes, chatting in groups, and living out the carefree days of their youth. Kriti was telling adviak what she did when she went to abroad how much she enjoyed over there.
"haan, mujhe pata hai ki tumane mujhe yahaan akela chhodakar vahaan kitana maze liya hai" ("yes, i know how much you have enjoyed over there leaving me alone over here") Advika said with a pout and sulky expression on her face.
Kriti chuckle and "gussa mat ho aur chinta mat karo agalee baar main tumhen bhee apane saath le jaoonge ,okay" ("do not be angry and do not worry next time i will also take you with me okay")
As Krit said they both chukle and kriti side hugged and they went to attend their second lecture.
After classes, Advika and Kriti decided to grab a coffee with at their favorite café as they had plan to hangout together. The small, cozy place was a haven for students, with its warm lighting and comfortable seating.
As they sat down, chatting and laughing, Advika glanced out the window. Across the street, a man was exiting a sleek black car. He was tall, impeccably dressed in a suit that spoke of wealth and power. There was something about him that caught her attention, a sense of authority that was almost palpable.
For a moment, their eyes met across the distance. Advika felt a strange jolt, like a current passing through her. But before she could make sense of it, the man turned and disappeared into the building.
"Advika, hello? Earth to Advika!" Kriti's voice snapped her back to reality.
"Sorry," Advika said, blinking. "bas mujhe laga ki mainne kisee aise vyakti ko dekha hai jise main jaanata hu " ("Just thought I saw someone I knew")
Kriti teased her, but Advika couldn't shake the feeling that the man she had seen was different—important, somehow. She made a mental note to ask around, curious to know more about him.
As the evening approached, both Rajveer and Advika returned to their respective homes. Rajveer was greeted by the silence of his mansion, a stark contrast to the chaotic world he controlled. He poured himself a drink, staring out at the city lights, the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him once more.
Advika, on the other hand, was welcomed by the warmth of her family. The familiar sounds of home— Kavita kaki in the kitchen, her father reading the newspaper—soothed her lingering unease.
But as she lay in bed that night, her mind kept returning to the man she had seen. There was something about him, something she couldn't quite place. Little did she know, their worlds were slowly, inexorably, beginning to collide.
